Angela Hedwall's Story
As a first-generation low-income college graduate myself, it is an honor to serve as the Executive Director of Alexander Hamilton Scholars because the work we do is meaningful to me. Our mission of Empowering youth. Cultivating changemakers. Advancing equity. are critical and resonate with my firm belief, that access and attainment of a college education is a way to disrupt poverty cycles, I have experienced this personally and professionally -- not to mention, my team and our Scholars are very cool and inspiring humans that bring me hope for our world!
