Three and a half years ago, I arrived at this magical place that we all know as Alexandria House. Like many of the women and family that first come to Alexandria House, I arrived after a crisis time in our family as Ira became critically ill with COVID-19 in January 2022 and I had to leave my previous job. The transition from one of the most traumatic moments in our lives became one of the most poignant, challenging, and fulfilling chapters in my career.

For the past three years, I have had the honor to work alongside women who first came to Alexandria House during some of their lowest moments to seek support and who now are the staff, providing support, encouragement and resources to new generations of women.

As we celebrate our 30th year of existence, I invite you to join us in honoring our history and looking forward to our evolving future as we continue to be a beacon of hope for our community. I look forward to seeing all of our family and friends at our Walkathon on March 21st!!
