How To Start/Join a Team

1. Click Start/Join Team

Near the Team Leaderboard section

2. A new window will open

Complete the form to sign up on Givebutter

Select Create your own team (and include your PLSI year!)

Complete the information you’d like to include for this team

Create the team

3. A new link will appear with your team’s URL

Share this URL to encourage others to donate to your team. When they donate from this URL, their support will be credited to your team!

How to Donate & Send a Message

1. Click Donate

On the right side of the screen

2. A new window will open

Select the amount you’d like to donate, or type in the “other” box

3. To credit a team, select that team from the Search list

You could also select a team member, and your donation would be credited to the team that member is part of

Continue, answer the AILC questions, then Continue

4. To send a message to the incoming PLSI class of 2023, add a public message, photo, GIF, or drawing

Then Continue

5. Complete the final details page

Choose:

To add a tip to GiveButter
To allow the AILC to contact you
To hide your name or donation amount from public view
Your payment method (payment process steps differ depending on the method you choose)

Then Finish

If you made a public donation, your name will appear in the campaign updates on the fundraising page!
