Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence has been supporting survivors of domestic violence on their path from crisis to safety and self-sufficiency since 1971. With your support, we can continue to grow and respond to the increasing and more complex needs of those in our community that have experienced abuse from a loved one.

“He chased me out the house, into my car, sort of banging on my car windows, trying to get in the car. He was a monster, just like a monster. It was terrifying. And then he got on my car and sat there, it was pounding on the hood.

It was insane. It was really terrible. After experiencing domestic violence, you’re set on a very long path to healing and recovery. Next Door Solutions is one of those agencies and services that has just always been there... it was comforting to know, that in that very chaotic and scary situation that I wasn’t alone and that there was an agency,

like literally just a phone call away or a walk in away. I’m actually thriving even more now than I was before this happened. I found ways to use my story to advocate has been mutually beneficial because it’s healing to do that. But for so many survivors, because of all of this societal mess and maybe not being able to navigate these systems, they don’t get the opportunity to fulfill their potential of what their life would have been - and everybody deserves that.“
