The past six years have been quite challenging, with multiple wildfires, an ongoing global pandemic, our teens fearful in schools, those distraught over the wars in the world, the despair of being homeless, economic uncertainty and countless other circumstances, losses, and struggles. During this time of great change, mental health services are needed now more than ever, and it's growing increasingly difficult for many members of our community to access or afford quality care.

As we emerge from the pandemic, we encounter how many people are unable to find a therapist. Many are under-insured, their insurance does not have openings with their providers, and copays make using their insurance insurmountable. Clients who have MediCal are also unable to find therapists with openings. We want to help these people.

Since 1987 the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic has been providing sliding scale and free mental health care to anyone in need in Sonoma County. We are one of the first clinics to offer an integrative approach that includes the body, mind, and spirit. We are also an educational facility providing supervision and training for people working towards getting their license in the mental health field.

With your care and generosity, we can meet the challenge of serving people in need. At Lomi, every dollar helps us meet our end goal and creates an opportunity for those in our community to get the help they need. Every DONATION is important. Small cash contributions boosts our chances of receiving additional funding. Public support helps us get government support. When Lomi applies for grants, agencies and foundations look closely at the support we receive from our local community.
