When NYC Animal Control found Alabaster as a stray, he was in heartbreaking condition—so matted with feces that he could barely walk. But despite his rough past, this resilient 10-year-old is now on his way to a happy, tail-wagging new chapter! We’re proud to give him a new leash on life and can’t wait to see his transformation as he gets the care and love he so desperately deserves.

Alabaster's medical care so far includes vaccines, addressing a very severe lung infection, and treating his cherry eye. Next up, we will assess his heart murmur and see if there are things we can do to improve his dental health. He is also deaf and loosing his vision. We want to rehabilitate him enough that he can live out his golden years in a quiet home and enjoy the #UpstatePupsLife.
