Alaska Zoo Animal Adoptions

The Alaska Zoo is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to promoting conservation of Arctic, sub-Arctic and like climate species through education, research and community enrichment. We have taken in thousands of Alaska's wild animals in need over the past 54 years. Your Animal Adoption is a symbolic way to help defray the cost of animal care.

Adopt the species of your choice at one of these levels:

$50 - Digital: You will receive the following by email: Adoption certificate (PDF file), a color photo, a species fact sheet, online recognition for 1 year on our website, 1 ticket the the Private Adoption Event on August 25th, 5-7:30pm at the zoo.

$100 - Zookeeper: All Digital items listed above, plus…2 tickets the the Private Adoption Event on August 25th, 5-7:30pm at the zoo.

$250 - Senior Zookeeper: All Digital and Zookeeper items above, plus…2 one-time Zoo Lights evening passes (value of $36), 1 mailed zoo animal print of your choice (value of $50), Alaska Zoo sticker ($5 value), 2 tickets the the Private Adoption Event on August 25th, 5-7:30pm at the zoo, Option A (everything included above) will receive a tax-deductible amount of $159.00, Option B - Donate at the $250 level, receive everything listed at the digital level, plus the 2 tickets to the adoption night and a full tax donation of $250.

$500 - Curator: All Digital and Zookeeper items above, plus…4 one-time Zoo Lights evening passes (value of $72), 1 mailed zoo animal print of your choice (value of $50), Alaska Zoo sticker ($5 value), 4 tickets the the Private Adoption Event on August 25th, 5-7:30pm at the zoo, Option A (everything included) will receive a tax-deductible amount of $373.00, Option B - Donate at the $500 level, receive everything listed at the digital level, plus the 4 tickets to adoption night and a full tax-donation of $500.

$1,000 - Director: All Digital and Zookeeper items above, plus…6 one-time Zoo Lights evening passes (value of $108), 1 mailed zoo animal print of your choice (value of $50), Alaska Zoo sticker ($5 value), 8 tickets the the Private Adoption Event on August 25th, 5-7:30pm at the zoo, Option A (everything included above) will receive a tax-deductible amount of $837.00, Option B - Donate at the $1,000 level, receive everything listed at the digital level, plus the 8 tickets to adoption night and receive a full tax donation of $1,000.
