Donate for an X-ray Machine

The Alaska Zoo recently purchased a much needed portable x-ray machine which includes plates, an x-ray generator, waterproof components/case, software, gowns, mitts and a package which includes calibration and training. This has been on the veterinary wishlist for our animal team for quite some time, so the decision was made to purchase it this spring due to some upcoming veterinary procedures. We are hoping to find generous zoo donors who are willing to contribute to the expense of this purchase. It was a time-sensitive and necessary decision to move forward, however the proximity of this expense to our costly orphaned wildlife season is not ideal. Every donation dollar will help our nonprofit zoo to recover this expense. We appreciate your dedication to helping us provide the very best care possible for the animals who reside at the Alaska Zoo. Please note that if our $80,000 goal is reached for the x-ray machine, additional donations will go to our general fund for animal care and zoo operations.
