I’m turning 40 this year — and instead of gifts, I’m asking for your support in raising funds for Pacific Arts Movement.

In my two years as Executive Director, I’ve had the honor of continuing the legacy of the San Diego Asian Film Festival and building new spaces for connection, creativity, and community through the power of Asian and Pacific Islander storytelling.

But 2025 has brought new challenges. With delays and uncertainty around federal and institutional funding, we’re relying more than ever on our community to help us sustain the work we do — from youth filmmaking in Reel Voices, to welcoming hundreds of artists to San Diego, to advocating for AAPI visibility across our region.
