For over 75 years, the Alexandria Harmonizers, a renowned men’s chorus specializing in the captivating barbershop style of a cappella harmony, has been a proud ambassador of the City of Alexandria and the wider DC metro area. We are now ushering in a transformative, more inclusive membership policy with the creation of additional ensembles. In 2023 we introduced Metro Voices, an ensemble composed of vocalists with a treble vocal range. Looking ahead to the spring of 2024, we are excited to announce the premier of Capital Force, a seasonal youth chorus designed to inspire and nurture young talents in the world of a cappella harmony. We also have plans for a daytime senior's chorus, ensuring that our musical family encompasses voices of all generations and walks of life. We are pleased to present the same high-quality vocal harmony and artistic presentation that distinguishes the Harmonizers to many more individuals through a diversity of singers appealing to a broader audience and expanding our mission of enriching lives through music in the greater DC area.
