All For Art

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we invite you to join us in CELEBRATING AND SUPPORTING THE ARTS in Indiana County. You may remember seeing colorful student art works displayed in downtown Indiana store fronts? Surely you have seen one of the many murals around the county funded by IAC's Creative Spaces Collective. Maybe you enjoy the Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival, every year, along with the new Westsylvania Arts Fest on Philadelphia Street? Or maybe you have been to one of the Philly Street Strings concerts at the Indiana Theater? Then you know what the Indiana Arts Council brings to this community!

Our successful programs create exciting opportunities for local artists, nurture the artistic talent of young people, and bring the community together for inspiring art exhibits, festivals, and live concerts. We are behind many of the engaging, vibrant arts events that this community looks forward to and enjoys every year. Art for All: IAC programs and events are accessible to everyone in the community. Most are offered free of charge, or ticket prices are intentionally kept very low.

We are committed to bringing the arts to all as a source of enrichment, inspiration, and creative growth! All for Art: The Indiana community supports our projects via IAC membership contributions, providing partial funding. But in order to keep the arts events going and growing, we need help from art-loving sponsors like you.

Your generous gift will directly support these signature annual arts events in Indiana:

• The Youth Arts Celebration gives hundreds of K - 12 area students the opportunity to have their art works featured in public exhibits through downtown Indiana and have it selected for awards. Youth concerts provide a showcase for student musicians.

• The IAC Concert Series at Indiana Theater brings high-level live music performances to the Indiana community, featuring local music groups, such as the Philly Street Strings and more.

• The IAC Writing Competition provides an inspirational challenge for high-school students to express themselves with poetry.

• The Westsylvania Arts Fest, new since 2025, brings exciting art exhibits and regional art vendors to the Indiana community. Complementing the WJBF, the IAC’s Arts Fest is happens in the heart of Indiana, along Philadelphia Street.

• Public Art Projects, such as colorful murals around town (in collaboration with the County & Boro)

• The IAC is also a sponsoring organization for the Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival, and for Indiana’s own orchestra, the Philly Street Strings.

• Partnership cooperation and cross promotion of I-CAST, The Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, the Potter's Tour, Indiana's art galleries and studios.
