All Course Bundle

We've created a one-week, full course bundle that enables participants to attend every training throughout the week. We've heavily discounted this bundle for one week only. Regular price $~~510~~. Special: $255.00. The full week bundle includes 32 hours of full instruction time (after breaks), and will thus award 3.2 Continuing Education Units to those who complete the full slate of courses.

Individual Course Descriptions:

1. Monday Feb. 26, 9-12am A Survey of Trauma: Five Markers: 3 Hour Course
This course will introduce the evidence-based concepts of trauma and traumatic stress, its impact on the mind, the body, and relationships, and prepare the learner for trauma-sensitive presence and engagement with self and others.

2. Monday Feb. 26, 1-4pm A Culture of Collective Trauma: 3 Hour Course
This course will re-examine how trauma impacts the person and introduce the evidence-based concepts of collective trauma. It will also assess trauma's impact, introduce strategies for resilience, and prepare the learner to assess and engage its impact on society.

3. Tuesday Feb. 27, 9-12am Trauma-Responsive Relationships: Tactics & Engagement: 3 Hour Course
This course will examine the evidence-based concepts of individual and collective trauma and its practical impact in how we relate to self and others, and introduce practices that promote healthy relationships and attachment.

4. Tuesday Feb. 27, 4-6pm Whole Person-Centered Self Care: 2 Hour Course
This course will explore the difference between “self care” and wholesome person-centered self care and offer practices that promote self-awareness, compassion and resilience.

5. Wednesday Feb. 28, 9am-1pm Hospitality as Trauma-Responsive Leadership in a Culture of Collective Trauma: 4 Hour Course (*Requires a Prerequisite of Two Courses: Survey of Trauma, Culture of Collective Trauma)
This course will examine the evidence-based concept we call Trauma-responsive leadership. It will re-examine individual and collective trauma, survey common leadership postures/styles, and propose a form of leadership that appropriately and effectively engages and responds to the reality of traumatic stress and trauma.

6. Wednesday Feb. 28, 2-5pm Hospitality & Asset-based Collaboration: 3 Hour Course
This course will explore the values and practices of community organizing and development that capitalize upon the existing strengths within a community, cultivate diverse collaborations, and create sustainable initiatives that promote human flourishing within a community.

7. Thursday Feb. 29, 9am-5pm Care and Resilience in a Culture of Collective Trauma: 8 Hour Course
This course will re-examine how trauma impacts the person and introduce the evidence-based concepts of collective trauma. It will also assess its impact, introduce the concepts, frameworks, tactics and practices for individuals and communities to develop trauma-responsive care and resilience in a culture of collective trauma.

8. Friday March 1, 9am-5pm The Trauma-Responsive Congregation: 8 Hour Course (Faith-Based)
This course will examine the intersection between theology, trauma, and resilience. It will also survey and assess the differences between trauma-producing practices, trauma-reducing practices and trauma-healing practices at work within a religious community. Finally, it will propose a robust theological framework for addressing all three.
