CitizensNYC is dedicated to helping New Yorkers come together and improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. For nearly 50 years, CitizensNYC has invested in the power of community leadership and made microgrants to grassroots leaders creating positive change in their neighborhoods. With your support, we connect New Yorkers with the tools, resources, and platform they need to create lasting change across all five boroughs of New York City.

The community leaders we support are the ones leading creative arts initiatives, soup kitchens, sports mentorship programs, health workshops for seniors, community gardens, and so much more. They are the small business owners providing opportunities and centers of community for their neighborhoods.
