Wear the Crown. Create Safety.

Our Mission

Crown Her Safe is a trauma-informed, action-driven community platform providing free, survivor-centered support to teens, young women, and families impacted by grooming, abuse, and sexual trauma.

Through advocacy, psychoeducation, and community engagement, we work to:

  • Strengthen prevention efforts

  • Increase awareness and early intervention

  • Create safer, more informed communities where survivors are believed, supported, and protected

Your support helps ensure that cost is never a barrier to healing or prevention.

The Reality We Can’t Ignore

Sexual violence is not rare—and it is not random.

  • Every 9 minutes, a child is sexually assaulted in the United States

  • Every minute, 69 women experience sexual assault

  • Each year, over 433,000 individuals ages 12+ and 60,000 children under 12 are victimized

  • In South Carolina alone, nearly 10 new survivors seek help every day—many of them children and teens

Most child sexual abuse is committed by someone the child knows and trusts. This betrayal often leads to secrecy, confusion, shame, and delayed disclosure. Trauma thrives in silence—and without safe, supportive spaces, many young people carry their pain alone.

Behind every statistic is a life that deserves safety, dignity, and healing.

Why This Work Matters

Sexual abuse often happens in silence, leaving children and families carrying pain they were never meant to bear alone. Many survivors struggle with shame, fear, and confusion—especially when the harm comes from someone trusted.

Scripture reminds us:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Crown Her Safe exists to be a place of refuge, truth, and support—where survivors are believed, protected, and reminded they are not alone.

A Personal Calling

When sexual trauma touched my own family, the world as we knew it stopped.

Like so many parents who face this reality for the first time, we were met with an overwhelming mix of shock, grief, anger, and helplessness. The questions came fast and unrelenting:
How did I miss this?
I should have known.
I failed to protect my child.

These thoughts are not signs of weakness or neglect—they are common, human responses to trauma. Research consistently shows that caregivers often blame themselves after discovering abuse, even though grooming behaviors are intentionally designed to manipulate trust, silence children, and evade detection. Yet even in the darkest moments, God meets us with grace. This work is a response to that grace—turning pain into purpose and offering hope to others walking a similar path.

From the deepest place in my soul, I became determined to transform trauma into triumph. My efforts may reach only a few, but the reality remains: girls and women will continue to suffer unless we prioritize prevention through education—specifically psychoeducation on grooming behaviors and early warning signs of predatory abuse.

"Beautified with Gold": A Therapeutic GROUP

Beautified with Gold is a free therapeutic support group for teens and young adults affected by sexual trauma.

Rooted in clinical care and faith-based compassion, this group provides a safe space to:

  1. Begin healing at their own pace

  2. Restore identity and self-worth

  3. Discover strength, resilience, and purpose beyond trauma

  4. Healing does not erase the past—but it can redeem it.

Community Education & Prevention

Healing alone is not enough—prevention saves lives.

Crown Her Safe provides free community education and speaking engagements focused on:

  • Grooming behaviors and risk awareness

  • Healthy boundaries and consent

  • Protective factors for children and teens

  • Recognizing warning signs and responding effectively

These sessions equip parents, educators, teens, and community leaders with practical tools to protect and intervene early. Prevention begins with knowledge—and access should never be limited by cost.
