We are starting a harm reduction program in our community. There is such a huge need for a program like this in our area. North Alabama has experienced a significant rise in drug overdose deaths, increasing by 90%, since 2018. We believe in meeting people where they are and empowering them to make healthier choices. Our harm reduction program is a vital lifeline for individuals in our community who are affected by substance use.

We provide compassionate, evidence-based services designed to minimize the negative consequences associated with drug use and promote overall health and safety. Our program offers many resources such as naloxone distribution and training, safer use supplies and education, overdose prevention education, linkage to care, and community outreach and education.
