AltaMae was named after her foster’s grandmother — a survivor.
Now, she’s fighting to survive too.

She was rushed to the ER covered in ticks, with a severe wound where tissue has already become necrotic. She must be sedated for treatment and will need daily bandage changes, pain management, and ongoing care.

We don’t have the funds for this… but leaving her behind was never an option.

It’s believed she was attacked by other dogs and left in unimaginable pain.

She’s safe now — but she needs us.
