"AL TIRA (Do Not Fear): Diary from a Nation at War" is a poignant documentary by lawyer and artist Jonathan York. In a series of intimate vignettes, the film captures the daily life of Israelis during the conflict that erupted on October 7th, all compiled from footage filmed on York's iPhone during a three-week stay in the country in December 2023. The piece provides an unfiltered look into the emotional rollercoaster experienced by the people of Israel, from the funeral of a soldier to the quotidian oddities of wartime.
