Amare is a recovery community organization based in Wood River, Illinois that will educate, empower, and provide compassionate recovery support services for those suffering from drug and alcohol addiciton and their families. We strive toward the overall wellness and stability of our community.

Amare will lead in broadening awareness, responsibility, accountabilty and the well-being of communities county-wide. Volunteers, employees, and board members will work together with individuals and their environments. We will consult, encourage, and provide extended programs and services as an integral part of an open and quality based organization.

At Amare, our dedicated recovery staff brings over 60 years of combined personal recovery experience to the table. We have walked the path of recovery ourselves and understand the journey intimately. Our goal is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can openly discuss your needs and the needs of your family.

The fundamental four pillars of our organization include: recovery support services, education and awareness, communal recovery, and advocacy.
