Montclair's Finest are also Montclair's Fiercest, and they're laying it all on the line for Montclair's kids! This is Scott's FOURTH FundRACER, and he's recruited a ringer to help ensure victory: fellow Marine veteran and track star, Corey Graves. Corey will bring the speed; Scott's got the home-field advantage as a Montclair native. But what really sets these two apart is their commitment to supporting our community. Whether it's carrying the torch in the Special Olympics run or racing to raise funds for Montclair school kids, Scott and Corey love to give back - and that is what truly makes them Montclair's Finest.
#1: What is your Meet Cute?
Corey sped past me in the MPD hall.
#2: What is your team’s hype song?
"Sound of da Police" - KRS-One
#3: What is your team’s superpower?
We've got the map of this town burned in our brains. We can find anything here, no matter how cryptic the clue.
#4: Is there a type of challenge you're hoping NOT to face?
We are really down for anything. Bring it.
#5: Why is your team FundRacing?
We'd love to see an MPD team win this FundRACE! But we are really in it to help Montclair students. I (Scott) am a proud Montclair High alum, who attended Nishuane, Hillside and Glenfield. My dad was a long-time PE teacher at Glenfield and Hillside before becoming assistant principal at Nishuane. I love these schools and this town, and I want to do my part to make sure all kids get the same shot at an excellent experience.
