Megan Matson + Hilary Trevenen

These sisters are three-time Amazing FundRACERS and motivated to win the top prize together! They narrowly lost in 2017 in a heart-breaking finish, dropping their water balloon inches from the finish line. The dynamic duo came back in 2019, but Hilary tore her achilles, and her husband stepped in at the last minute to win the race with Megan.

MFEE asked: What keeps bringing you back?

"First and foremost, supporting the incredible work of MFEE is a no brainer!" Matson said. "I've seen the fundraising dollars in action as a recipient of the funds. The money goes directly to the students and community of Montclair…. In the end, the students and families of Montclair are the real winners!”

We've been teaming up and challenging each other since the early 80s when we had to share a room and decide who was going to get the top bunk!

Being sisters....we know what each other is thinking before we even think it!

We are fundracing because we are staunch supporters of public education. We both worked for Montclair Public Schools for many years and we know what an amazing community Montclair is. We want to support the teachers, students, and community of Montclair!
