Amigos Campaign

Through the Amigos Campaign, the Latin American Coalition invites you to be part of an artistic installation that reflects how a community works together in a transformation of positive change in the Queen City.

By purchasing one of the butterflies that will be installed on the facade of the Latin American Coalition building, you will be helping us reach our first-year goal of $100,000 for the construction of our Plaza Las Mariposas. This plaza will provide a space for community gatherings, offering a pathway to equity and belonging in a more inclusive and diverse society. Your support in this campaign's early stages will contribute to the development of Plaza Las Mariposas, which will serve as a venue for weekend community markets and various events for our neighborhood. Your contribution is vital in fulfilling our mission to establish a path toward equity and inclusivity in our diverse society, and our goal for the inaugural year is to raise $100,000. Your donation plays a significant role in achieving this aim.

The Amigo Program consists of six levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper, and Friendship. Contributions are tax-deductible.

Gran Amigo Level (Platinum): Reserved for those who donate $10,000 or more annually. Amigos at the Platinum level receive:

Workshop Opportunities: The Amigos Program collaborates with companies and corporations to provide matching funds, enabling employees to participate in the program at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. Companies, organizations, or families have the opportunity to have an exclusive workshop where we can coordinate the number of individuals based on the level. Depending on the level, participants can take part in a clay workshop led by a professional artist to create butterflies that will be installed on the building's facade with their tag names. Throughout the year, we will conduct two large workshops where individuals can pay the minimum level to participate and personalize butterflies with their own names.
