Meet Zariyah, our remarkable 5-year-old who has defied every "never will" with "just watch me." After a full-term healthy pregnancy, medical complications at birth left doctors saying there was nothing more they could do. But Zariyah's mother, Rikiya, refused to give up. "Not only is Zariyah going to live," she declared, "She is going to walk. I will bring her back when she is walking."

Today, Zariyah continues to defy odds. Despite challenges including Cerebral Palsy and seizures, she has achieved incredible milestones - from speaking her first clear word "mom" to taking steps in her walker. Most recently, she celebrated another victory: pedaling independently during her trial on a Freedom Concepts adaptive bike!

Thanks to a generous memorial gift from our community, we've expanded our impact goal to $5,000 this Giving Tuesday.
