Founded in 2016, Animal People Alliance Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation dedicated to transforming animal welfare while empowering communities through sustainable initiatives. Operating in Kolkata, India, and Chiang Rai, Thailand, we address urgent animal care needs, provide life-saving treatments, and promote humane practices. 

In Kolkata, our mobile animal ambulance delivers critical care to street animals, including vaccinations and mass rabies and parvo programmes. In Chiang Rai, we manage a sanctuary and rehabilitation centre, offering adoption services, sterilisation, and care for rescued animals, while also aiding underserved tribal villages with free treatments and education on animal welfare.

Empowering communities is at the heart of our mission. Over 75% of our staff are women from marginalised backgrounds, creating a diverse and impactful team.
