The Crayon Fund - SLS Annual Campaign

At SLS Preschool, every day is filled with color, creativity, and joy. From the moment our children pick up their first crayon, they begin to explore, imagine, and express themselves in ways that shape their earliest learning experiences. This spirit of curiosity and discovery is at the very heart of our preschool.

To keep our classrooms bright, engaging, and full of opportunity, we invite you to participate in The Crayon Fund—our school’s annual appeal campaign. While tuition covers the essential cost of staff salaries, The Crayon Fund covers over 20% of our operating budget and makes possible everything else that brings our program to life: classroom materials, outdoor play spaces, enrichment activities, community events, and the daily resources that spark imagination and learning.

This year, we ask each family to consider a suggested donation of $5,000 per child. Your contribution helps ensure that our children continue to have the vibrant, inspiring environment they deserve. Every gift, no matter the size, adds an important color to the picture we create together. For the past several years, we have proudly reached 100% parent participation, and we hope to continue this legacy of giving. Last year, The Annual Appeal raised over $550,000! With your help, we can reach this milestone once again.

As a special celebration, the first class to reach 100% family participation in The Crayon Fund will enjoy an afterschool art party with Mrs. Mullen and the teachers. It’s a joyful way to honor the spirit of creativity that your generosity makes possible. Families who give $10,000 or more will join our Leadership Circle, and we will host a special event celebrating these Leadership Circle families in the spring.

We kindly ask that all gifts be made by Friday, November 21st so that, together, we can reach our goal!
