Alexander Academy's Annual Fund

It is our mission to build confidence and self-worth in children and adults through dance performance. 

Maintaining Alexander Academy Performing Company's standard of excellence and inclusive student body involves annual expenses that exceed money earned from performance fees, ticket sales, fundraisers, sponsorships and grants.  This past year, our production expenses have increased by 26%.  

So we are introducing a new Annual Fund to support our annual performance seasons, starting in 2024-2025 with The Nutcracker Ballet at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on December 14-15, and our Spring Production at Seabury Hall May 31-June 1. 

New need this Fall 2024, we are asking for help to cover our discounted students that rely on scholarships to afford a dance experience.   This year we specifically need renovations to customize our new studio space at QKC estimated at $25,000.   Our rent has increased and we are hoping to keep our discounted tuition in the works, we supported about $82,000 in tuition and performance fees last year. 

As a non-profit organization, we look to the community - our true ambassadors -  to help us fill the gap!  Give once, or give annually!   Large and small donations help us.

The Annual Fund bridges the gap by providing ongoing support for our performances, including scholarships for students in need, theater rental, costumes, sets, props, and overhead. With your help, we can ensure that the next generation of our dancers continues to receive high-caliber training, professional opportunities, professional costuming, integrity put into each production, and the support necessary for success.
