Alexander Academy's Annual Fund

It is our mission to build confidence and self-worth in children and adults through dance performance. 

Maintaining Alexander Academy Performing Company's standard of excellence and inclusive student body involves annual expenses that exceed money earned from performance fees, ticket sales, fundraisers, sponsorships and grants.  This past year, our production expenses have increased by 26%.   We are in the works of managing our budget and are asking for $30,000  of this by December 31, 2025 in order to secure Jennifer Oberg and her Sewing Hui to be involved with our costuming for Alice In Wonderland.   from our annual campaign, we have spent 12,000 already towards Nutcracker, our goal by the end of this year 2025 is $42,000.   Thank you for giving big and/or small.   Our community has always been able to support us in times of need, so we thank you for seeing the value in what we do and contributing today so we can continue to have Jennifer and her team work with us in our spring production with artistic direction by Amelia Nelson.   

So we are introducing a new Annual Fund to support our annual performance seasons, starting in 2025-26 with The Nutcracker Ballet at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in December , and our Spring Production Alice in Wonderland.   

As a non-profit organization, we look to the community - our true ambassadors -  to help us fill the gap!  Give once, or give annually!   Large and small donations help us.

The Annual Fund bridges the gap by providing ongoing support for our performances, including scholarships for students in need, theater rental, costumes, sets, props, and overhead. With your help, we can ensure that the next generation of our dancers continues to receive high-caliber training, professional opportunities, professional costuming, integrity put into each production, and the support necessary for success.
