The journey from adolescence to adulthood has never been more complex. Many young people today are experiencing, heightened anxiety and depression, feelings of isolation despite being constantly connected, uncertainty about the future, pressure to have it all figured out, difficulty finding authentic connections.
These challenges are compounded by the fast pace of modern life, which often leaves young adults feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from their true selves. With a growing sense of uncertainty about the future, the pressure to succeed, and an increasing inability to form meaningful connections, many young people are struggling to find their footing. But there is hope. The human potential for growth, healing, and resilience is greater thanks to the effective strategies of Anthropedia’s programs and the support of our generous donors.
The Bright Horizon Program is an immersive retreat for young adults (18-25) that promotes personal growth and resilience to address the mental and emotional health challenges that young adults face today.
Through expert guidance and wellness practices, participants explore their unique personality strengths, learn practical tools for managing stress and emotions, and develop deeper self-awareness. Participants will also build communication skills and engage in community-based learning in a supportive environment. These experiences are carefully crafted to enhance psychological health and emotional intelligence. The program equips young adults with strategies they can use throughout their lives to maintain balance and build meaningful relationships.
Your donation supports program development, outreach, financial aid for participants, and ongoing follow-up support and coaching to ensure long-term impact for those we serve.
This program was launched as a partnership between Ben's Bright Horizons Organization(501(c)(3)) and the Anthropedia Foundation (501(c)(3)).
About Ben’s Bright Horizons
Neil and Carol Stratford created Ben’s Bright Horizons in honor of their eldest son, Ben Stratford, who tragically took his own life on June 18, 2023, at the age of 21. Ben was a remarkable individual whose presence illuminated the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. The organization is dedicated to transforming collective grief into meaningful action by providing crucial financial support for young individuals navigating mental health difficulties. It also aims to raise awareness about the growing mental health crisis affecting youth and to foster conversations around prevention, resilience, and healing.
