Filmmaker Experience Evening — $20

An intimate evening at the HeartHouse Microcinema featuring screenings of O Pioneer and Fasnacht, celebrating Appalachian storytelling, folklore, ritual, and cultural memory.

Guests will experience both films alongside opportunities to meet visiting filmmakers and artists, including Nick Curran, Ben Berry, and Fasnacht mask artists Kristy Henson and Greg Popovich.

The evening will also feature a special Fasnacht mask installation featuring masks seen in the film, along with classic movie theater candy, popcorn, and refreshments as the HeartHouse Microcinema transforms into an immersive cinematic gathering space.

Seating is limited to 20 guests.

A free community screening of O Pioneer and Fasnacht presented by Central WV HeartHouse as part of its commitment to accessible arts and cultural programming in Weston.

This evening focuses on shared viewing and community gathering through independent Appalachian film in the intimate setting of the HeartHouse Microcinema.

Free admission. RSVP required. Seating is limited to 20 guests.
