About the Junior Board:

The Gesu School Junior Board is a group of young professionals that supports Gesu School’s mission. The collective goal is to raise enough funds to sponsor at least one child at Gesu School every year- the more funds raised the more children the Junior Board can Sponsor. A sponsorship of $8,000 covers the majority of the cost of one child’s Gesu education for the school year. 

In addition to fundraising efforts, the Junior Board organizes a mentoring program for middle-school students and garners sustainable, next-generation philanthropic support from Philadelphia-based young professionals via fundraising, social events, and corporate partnerships. The Junior Board is dedicated to learning best practices of nonprofit board governance and receives mentorship from Gesu’s highly successful Board of Trustees.
