Welcome to DrawBridge's The Art of San Francisco. In partnership with BXP, we welcome you into our gathering place built to nourish the Bay Area's most visionary and most vulnerable - artists, and children.

Whatever we do here in our artlab is meant to reintegrate the arts and community in the age of intelligence. Our model is meant to nourish artists, and supports the field work that DrawBridge has been practicing in homeless shelters across the Bay Area for nearly 40 years.

In 15 shelter sites from the Tenderloin to Palo Alto, Oakland to Marin — DrawBridge cultivates high agency and resilience for kids facing housing instability through trauma-informed expressive arts to kids in shelters. We believe in creative expression as the pathway to voice, agency, and belonging.

A city's art is its heart. Every child deserves to experience coherence within their internal voice - and find their own expression and agency.

$25,000 funds one shelter site for a full year of weekly programming. 15 sites are active. 15 more are on the waiting list. Help us get closer to unlocking that waiting list - for hundreds of kids.
