We advocate for 1% of Metro’s budget to be dedicated to the arts, with a 50-50 split between organizations and local artists.

Our coalition has won over $2 million in funding for local artists, prevailed in a Title VI complaint against multiple departments in Metro Nashville, worked with mutual aid funds to award artist micro-grants, hosted community art shows, led teach-ins, received an Assembling Voices fellowship from Incite Institute, produced a mayoral forum, and organized in excess of 12,000 emails in our letter-writing campaigns.
