MEET MARY:

When Mary arrived at A Safe Haven Foundation, she felt lost and uncertain. Seeing other people succeed taught Mary that she was not alone in her struggles. “You always think you are the only one that’s been through certain things – and no, that’s not it. That’s what opened my eyes – to hear other people’s stories and to know you are not alone.” Inspired, Mary embraced the opportunities before her.

Through the job readiness courses and custodial engineering vocational training program, she gained valuable skills and confidence. After completing a seven-week course, she was thrilled to receive a job offer, marking a significant turning point in her life. The determination of the women Mary met motivated her to succeed.

At A Safe Haven Foundation, we provide more than just shelter. Our workforce training programs equip individuals like Mary with the necessary skills to attain employment and stable housing, enabling them to overcome challenges and build a hopeful future.
