Asbury Book Cooperative (ABC) has gotten 501c3 status!

This will allow all donations to be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consider ABC as part of your end-of-year giving!

Donations will help ABC continue our mission of fostering literacy in the community. We do this by going out in the community to give away books for free, and by making our space a welcoming hub of free events, including concerts, book clubs, author readings, and class visits!

For years, we have distributed books throughout Asbury Park, including at Public Housing buildings, Music Mondays in Springwood Park, and Community Karma's Summer Backpack Drive. We've always done this because we love literature and making sure everyone in the community has access to books.

Now that we are a nonprofit we will expand our focus on these efforts! It's going to be a wonderful ride and we hope you will join us.
