Ashes Artist Collective (AAC) is an artist collective dedicated to creating space and opportunities for young creatives in the pandemic and beyond. We are collapsing the space between artists around the U.S. and revitalizing the industry by collaborating both digitally and (safely) in-person to create filmed content.

AAC, founded in 2020 by three recent alumni of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts promotes unique, underrepresented stories by recents arts graduates affected by changes in the entertainment industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our mission is to pool resources and skills, promote health and safety and create an inclusive and supportive environment on set to replenish artistic joy and possibility.

As of September 2020, AAC begins pre-production for a diverse slate of 6 Upcoming Short Films, including comedies, dramas and uplifting women, POC and queer communities. Over the next 6 months, AAC will produce and film all 6 short films in New York City, working with artists across state borders and on sets with up to 5 or 6 individuals.

Ashes Artist Collective is looking to raise funds to rent studio spaces, locations, equipment, purchase basic production needs and COVID-19 safety materials to go towards the production of all 6 films and following projects. Our first film, Girl of My Dreams, successfully wrapped production on November 15th and is currently in post-production.
