In Person

The Athens Black Market (pop-up marketplace) is hosted three times per year to promote culture, diversity, and black and minority entrepreneurship in downtown Athens. Come join us at College Avenue Square for a day filled with music, food, and local vendors showcasing their unique creations. This event is the perfect opportunity to support Black and minority-owned businesses in Athens. Shop from a variety of vendors offering art, fashion, food, beauty products, and more while enjoying live music, cultural performances, and networking opportunities. May Day Celebration – Honoring Workers’ Rights In collaboration with Beto the Activist, the AADM will honor workers rights. In solidarity with International Workers' Day (May 1st), we recognize the fight for fair wages, workers' protections, and economic justice. This segment of the event will feature: Speakers & Activists – Speaker on labor rights, workplace equity, and community organizing For vendor opportunities, performance slots, or more information, register here. Let’s come together to celebrate culture, business, and the fight for workers' rights!
