Personal injury attorneys often meet families after a crash has already changed their lives. Hunter’s Fund was created after our son, Hunter Watson, was killed as a passenger in a distracted-driving accident while he was in college. Today, we help students lead Safe Driving Week campaigns to reach young drivers before tragedy happens.

Motor vehicle crashes remain a major danger for young people. CDC describes motor vehicle crashes as a leading cause of death for U.S. teens, and NHTSA identifies distracted driving as any activity that takes attention away from driving, including phone use, eating, talking with passengers, or using navigation and entertainment systems.
