What is The Audacious Giving Fund?

The Audacious Giving Fund is the annual giving program of Project Sankofa. Your monthly and annual support provides critical funding needed to power each program and resource area we offer African American students throughout the Bay Area and Los Angeles County. The Audacious Giving Fund sustains our commitment to quality education.

As with most academic program experiences, the Fund plays a vital role in supporting our annual operating budget and is immediately used during the school year.

How is Your Donation Used?

Every dollar fuels critical support across our programs and services, including:

Teacher Stipends
Mentorship (including mentor stipends, training, and resources)
Mental Health Services (therapist salaries, wellness sessions)
Financial Literacy Programming (program development and facilitators)
Curriculum Development (ethnic studies curriculum creation and training)
Administrative Costs (staff salaries, office space, technology, compliance)
Marketing and Recruitment (advertising, outreach, HBCU campus visits)

Giving Levels

Choose to be a Sustainer or Leader in Audacious Giving, starting from $25, and gain access to special events and community recognition. Leadership donations begin at $2,021 in honor of our founding year. Each year, our Audacious Giving members enjoy special events and perks in appreciation for their leadership.
