💔 Why I’m Asking for Your Help

Dear Friends,

I never thought I’d be writing this. But today, I need to ask for something big—not for me, but for the 28 dogs we have already rescued who are depending on all of us.

Hugs For Harry has been a safe haven for seniors, cruelty survivors, and shelter dogs on the edge of euthanasia. Every wagging tail you’ve seen, every adoption success story, every healing journey—it has all been possible because we had a roof over our heads.

Now, because of a lease restriction, we’ve been told we cannot keep dogs overnight at our current Orinda location. Unless we move quickly, 28 dogs will lose their safe beds, their place to heal, and possibly their lives.

We cannot let this happen!

This is a 4-alarm emergency—and I’m turning to you, our community, because I know we can do this together.

• We need $25,000 to cover the move, renovations, and boarding.

• $10,000 – Construction & renovations (safe kennels, outdoor access, buildout)
