Support AVP's Back to School Supply Drive

Every August, Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) gears up to get our youth clients and their families ready for back to school by holding a school supply drive. We collect school supplies like backpacks, notebooks, binders, pencils, color pencils, calculators, uniforms and folders.

With the help from our generous donors, last year we were able to supply over 50 children in Philadelphia with a backpack and various supplies before the beginning of the new school year. These items are crucial tools that prepare children for academic success.

Would you consider making a financial contribution or in-kind donation in support of our annual Back to School supply drive to help AVP continue to be able to support our youth clients and their families?

If you are interested in sponsoring a student or a family, please note that the average cost per grade is:

• Grades K-2: $55-$80
• Grades 3-5: $60-$90
• Grades 6-8: $110-$130
• Grades 9-12: $140 - $180

If you prefer to make an in kind donation, you can purchase online via our Amazon wish list and your donation will be delivered directly to our office. Donations purchased otherwise can be dropped off at our office but need to be scheduled by contacting our Director of Development & Community Engagement, Dr. Andrew Summers, at [email protected] or by calling 215-259-8884.
