As you know, Philadelphia is in crisis - the city is on track for a record year of homicides, and overall violent crime is up 7% v. last year. You know the saying - hurt people hurt people. At AVP, our mission is to reduce the entire cycle of violence by providing a wide range of services from support and counseling for victims and their families to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of violence.
