About:

FOREFRONT Charity enables every person, equips leaders, and establishes self-sustaining communities. Since launching in 2015, we have listened to local needs in rural India through community forums, each with hundreds in attendance. People spend about 8 hours a day getting water from contaminated sources. The water would often make them sick and unable to attend school or work. Thus, we worked with community members to build clean water wells. We regularly test our wells, and have found that the water quality in our wells is better than local bottled water. We have also distribute soap toys to children and have trained local people to run regular workshops on sanitary practices and water conservation. In 2020, we launched our state-of-the-art elementary school in rural Kolluru, India providing quality, affordable education. The school is also used as a community center for medical care, health workshops, and adult learning. Through clean water & sanitation, quality education, and medical care, FOREFRONT Charity empowers underserved communities to grow and thrive.

Our model leads to sustainable community growth. In addition, our goal is to create change owners and inspire people, including the upcoming generation, to use their skills and education to help others around them, creating lasting, sustainable change. Instead of providing merely short-term aid, we invest in communities for the long haul, training and equipping people to lead change within their communities. Each village identifies a leader, and we create an alliance of local leaders. They learn about education and new practices and technologies—knowledge they then can share in their villages. Thus, we achieve effective change, driven by local-to-local change.
