Afghanistan continues to face one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises, with millions lacking access to food, clean water, and healthcare. As international aid declines, vulnerable communities—especially women and children—are being left behind.

AWAKEN remains one of the only providers of free healthcare, maternal services, education, and emergency relief in our region. Through our clinics, birthing centers, and community programs, we are delivering life-saving support every day.

This year, one of our key goals is to fully cover the annual operating cost of our Behsood Health Clinic (Qala-e-Malakh BHC)—$31,195. This ensures we can keep the clinic open, stocked with essential medicines, and continue serving patients without interruption.
