Awakening is an emotionally charged, visually surreal short film that follows Pamela, a reclusive botanist who spirals into grief after the sudden death of her boyfriend. Desperate to reconnect with him, she attempts a ritualistic journey through grief, memory, and self-discovery...with the help of a mysterious plant and a hallucinogenic experience that forces her to confront her past and her true self.

We’ve poured heart and soul into creating this story, and now we’re asking for your support to help us share it with the world.

Your donation will go directly toward our film festival run ,covering submission fees, promotional materials, and the technical deliverables we need (like DCPs and screeners). Our goal is to raise $1,500, which will allow us to submit Awakening to national and international festivals, connect with a broader audience, and spark conversations around grief, healing, and identity.
