I’m a Venezuelan immigrant living with HIV in the United States. My personal journey has led me to dedicate over a decade to fighting for human rights, health equity, and equality, especially within the LGBTQ+, immigrant, and minority communities, both in the U.S and internationally.
Living with HIV not only made me stronger, it also empowered me to speak up for those who still live in silence, in fear, or without access to the care they deserve. I’ve seen firsthand how discrimination and a lack of resources disproportionately affect these communities, and that’s why my activism has become a lifelong commitment.
This experience gave me a voice, and I’ve chosen to use it to uplift, empower, and inspire others. My purpose is to continue working toward a more just and inclusive world, where everyone in the LGBTQ+ community can live with dignity, pride, and equal access to healthcare.
