For nearly 100 years, the Cambridge Community Center has been a place where community is intentionally built. Founded in 1929 by Black pastors who created a safe and inclusive space when others would not, CCC has always been rooted in one belief: our community knows what it needs, and every child deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported.

Awards Night is one of the clearest expressions of that commitment.

For decades, this annual tradition has brought CCC families together to celebrate our young people, not only for academics, but for their growth, leadership, kindness, and perseverance. It is a night of pride and joy that students, families, and staff look forward to every year.

For many of us, Awards Night is deeply personal. Parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents have stood in this same space, and now return to cheer on the next generation. In a Center that serves thousands of community members each year and remains a trusted resource for under-resourced families across Cambridge, Awards Night reflects the continuity and belonging that make CCC so special.
