In January 2016, the McGregor ISD Education Foundation was established with a shared vision among community leaders, educators, and supporters to bridge the gap between what public funding provides and what our students truly need to thrive. From the start, our goal has been to deepen the academic skills and broaden the possibilities for all MISD students, ensuring each child has the tools and confidence to reach their full potential.

Each year, the MISD Education Foundation empowers teachers and students through grants that bring creative, student-centered learning to life. Open to all MISD classroom teachers, these grants fund innovative projects and professional development opportunities, with a focus on initiatives that make a measurable impact in the classroom.

The MISD Education Foundation is exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Foundation are deductible in the manner and to the extent of the law.
