For 25 years, Zawaya has facilitated the preservation of Arab art and music in the SF Bay Area.  Our Aswat Ensembles have been a lifeline to many in the Arabic-speaking diaspora in search of community.  Our programs also serve as a medium for positive and meaningful interactions with other diverse Bay Area communities.  We do this, because we feel that collaboration in the arts is one of the greatest ways to build bridges of friendship and trust.
