Our Founder thwarted an assault when she was followed home from the train one night, inspiring B3: Be Prepared, Be Aware, Be Empowered. Being physically prepared to run, and aware of her surroundings, she was able to protect herself and run to safety. She needed B3. And she's not alone.

2024

Physical fitness and community are integral when it comes to self-protection. B3 strengthens our community by providing accessible fitness training to be prepared, self-defense and tactical public transit initiatives to be aware, and community yoga to be empowered and regain confidence to fearlessly walk alone.
