Tinkering T-Rex Book Drive
📚 Tinkering T-Rex Book Drive for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati
This November, in celebration of National Kindness Week, we’re launching the Tinkering T-Rex Book Drive — a community effort to share the joy of reading, creativity, and kindness with children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati. Our goal is to provide a free copy of Tinkering T-Rex to every child K-5 served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, which is roughly 650 books.Â
Tinkering T-Rex was co-created by award-winning children’s author Tracy Blom and Mythbusters Junior host and engineer Tamara Robertson-- two friends with a passion for building and creating. Their latest book features  a handy little dinosaur that helps bring her friends’ ideas to life through inventive builds and problem-solving projects — showing young readers how kindness and teamwork can turn any dream into reality.
Each book we donate is more than just a story — it’s a spark of curiosity, a lesson in empathy, and an invitation for kids to dream big and build boldly.Â
Join us in spreading kindness and creativity this November. Together, we can empower young minds with stories that inspire them to imagine, innovate, and believe in the power of helping one another.

With creativity, teamwork and a lot of persistence, they design and build a rocket, learning valuable lessons along the way. Perfect for young readers eager to explore the wonders of STEM.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Emmy-Nominated actor, engineer, producer Tamara Robertson teams up with award-winning author Tracy Blom to create a fun, STEM series all ages can enjoy.Â
Tamara Robertson  spent a decade in corporate engineering where she was pivotal in creating Women in Leadership mentorship programs.  During this time she noted a lack of women so in 2015, she transitioned full time to outreach in hopes of inspiring more young women to pursue S.T.E.M. careers.  It was during this time that she was given the opportunity to battle it out for a chance to join the Mythbusters legacy where her lifetime as a tinkerer and collector of skills landed her as the only female finalist and 2 x MVP winner.  Since then has become one of the leading female science hosts and engineers on the Science Channel lending her talents to Scijinks with Johnny Galecki, Mythbusters 2.0 with Brian Louden and Jon Lung and most recently on Mythbusters Jr. with Adam Savage.Â
