CareSouth CareS Foundation
Established in 2023, the CareSouth Cares Foundation (CSCF) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 and is the fundraising arm of Capitol City Family Health Center, Inc. dba CareSouth. CSCF is guided by a board of directors made up of local leaders with diverse interests, skills, and backgrounds. The board provides guidance for strategic planning, financial stewardship, and initiatives.
Through philanthropy, CareSouth Cares Foundation will be a vital community force that helps to shape and improve the quality and availability of health care and enhances the health and well-being of the people we serve and the communities where we serve.
The mission of the CareSouth Cares Foundation is to be the philanthropic arm of CareSouth to support enhancing patient access and educational growth opportunities, economic and community development and exploring research focused on diseases and conditions that affect vulnerable populations.
The foundation focus areas are:
- Patient access improvement
- Educational growth opportunities
- Infrastructure expansion, development, and enhancements
- Economic development
- Community development and engagement
