Our Mission

Connecting Community creates opportunities to connect individuals and agencies, increasing distribution of information and resources within communities. Increase information about available services to people who have the least access. ES Nuestra misión Crear oportunidades para conectar personas y organizaciones, aumentando la distribución de información y recursos dentro de las comunidades.Aumentar la información sobre los servicios disponibles para las personas que tienen menos acceso.

We are raising money to continue doing the capsulas of information. One in Mobile Park Homes in Apex and  movement and inclusion in Durham.

SOCCER CLINIC AND INFO AT Mobile Park Home Shangri-La IN APEX Kids will do soccer and crafts, we will have a community branch where food, made by an entrepreneur at the community will be served and families will receive information about services available in different areas of education, health, etc More than 60 people are expected. Families, single parents, mostly Hispanic live in that community of 100 mobile park homes, but the invitation will be extended to surrounding areas. Our organization offers a program called Movement and Inclusion (previously called Ciclodanza) that so far has operated in Apex and now is being offered in Durham. This is a unique and inclusive movement program for people of all ages who have low mobility, people in wheelchairs and their caregivers, families with kids with autism, and seniors. After the 45 min class, after the class, information about resources for the community is provided. Medicaid, Medicare, health resources, and others. We bring 3 agencies each time.

*This is a new organization. Found and led by a latino women , inmigrant, bilingual. But it is not only for Hispanic, is for everyone. Our clients are the ones that has less access to information. Please consider this to make your decision of donating.
